At iRenewHealth, we are among the less than 1% of highly educated and dedicated licensed clinicians in the United States who treat hormone balance and Functional Medicine.
With extensive training and years of experience in Functional Medicine, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Weight Loss, treatment of Thyroid Conditions, and more, we apply the concepts of precision, preventative, innovative, and longevity medicine.
We provide personalized treatment options to help you reverse and heal from chronic disease, hormonal imbalances, metabolic syndrome, mental issues, gut problems, toxicities, and many more.
We focus on delivering cutting-edge medical services that treat the root causes of illness rather than just masking symptoms.

Many concerns around hormone therapy began with the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study in 2002, which linked hormone therapy to increased risks of breast cancer, stroke, and heart disease.
However, it’s important to understand that the WHI only studied synthetic hormones—specifically medroxyprogesterone and conjugated equine estrogens, derived from pregnant mare’s urine (WHI Study, JAMA).
Bioidentical hormones, by contrast, are molecularly identical to the hormones your body naturally produces. They are synthesized from plant sources such as soy and yams and converted into estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and pregnenolone.
Studies suggest that properly prescribed and dosed BHRT may carry fewer risks and offer additional health benefits, including improved cardiovascular, bone, brain, and metabolic health.
Recent research shows that nearly every organ, including the gut, plays a role in hormone regulation. The stomach, pancreas, and intestines all produce hormones that affect metabolism and appetite—further supporting the need for a whole-body, personalized approach to hormone therapy.
BHRT can greatly reduce symptoms of hormone imbalance:
Beyond symptom relief, BHRT can improve your overall life quality:
Research suggests that proper BHRT may help protect your long-term health:
♦ Bioidentical Hormone Replacement is highly customized for each person.
♦ Based on your symptoms, test results, and health goals, your plan will cover:
This personal approach ensures that your treatment addresses your specific hormone imbalances.
Bioidentical hormones match the exact structure of hormones your body makes naturally. This means they fit perfectly into your body’s hormone receptors and work just like your natural hormones.
At iRenewHealth, we use only bioidentical hormones to replace or supplement the hormones your body doesn’t produce enough of and help restore balance to your system.
Our treatment is highly personalized. We understand that no two patients are alike, so we take the time to evaluate your unique genetic makeup, environmental factors, and lifestyle habits. This enables us to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses the underlying causes of your health issues, rather than merely managing symptoms.
Both BHRT and traditional hormone replacement therapy (HRT) help with hormone imbalances, but they have key differences:
Same biochemical structure as human hormones
Derived from plant sources (usually yams or soy)
Can be custom-made for your needs
No side effects if properly prescribed and dosed
Available in many formulations and dosages
Have a different structure than human hormones
Are derived from pregnant mares’ urine hormones”
Only come in standard doses
May have serious side effects including cancer and heart disease risk
Fewer formulation options
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) offers a different path than most, one that looks beyond standard lab ranges to understand the unique balance your body needs to thrive. BHRT recognizes that hormone imbalances can affect every aspect of your well-being.
At iRenewHealth, it’s not just about treating numbers on a lab report—it’s about restoring your quality of life, energy, clarity, and sense of self. It’s about addressing the actual cause of your symptoms with a natural approach that works in harmony with your body.
It’s also about acknowledging that standard lab “reference ranges” are often based on a population that may not reflect optimal health. Many people with hormone levels labeled as “normal” still experience fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, and more.
In some cases, this may be due to hormone resistance—a condition where hormone levels are present but the body is not responding effectively. That’s why we prioritize your symptoms, context, and quality of life, not just the numbers on the page.

For your appointments, please note that we are an out-of-network provider. This decision allows us more flexibility in providing thorough care tailored to your needs, which often requires more time and varied treatment options than what insurance constraints allow.
If you have a PPO plan, your medical insurance may reimburse a significant portion of your visit costs. Upon request, we can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your medical insurance for reimbursement. With an HMO plan, your visits may not be covered, but your medical insurance might cover some or all of your laboratory (lab) work expenses. If you want to use any insurance benefits, you will need to check with your insurance company to see if they will reimburse any expenses or cover labs.
Medical insurance policies now often require meeting deductibles before covering any lab costs, often requiring full payment until deductibles are met. To help manage expenses, we have negotiated lower lab prices to ease these costs for our patients and offer substantial savings on lab work costs for self-pay patients.
To understand what your medical insurance covers, contact them and inquire about your coverage for out-of-network medical providers and lab work costs. Depending on their reimbursement rates, our discounted lab program may provide you with significant savings.
We make the best treatment decisions for you, which might not always align with your insurance’s coverage. But we will work with you and do the best we can for you in this respect.
Yes, we accept FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) as payment for visits and supplements purchased.
